Melbourne’s Best River, Bay & Waterside Walks
Published in December 2018, and co-authored with my long time friend and walking mate, Debra Heyes, Melbourne’s Best River, Bay & Lakeside Walks is the latest in my Woodslane Press guidebook series. It is the first of a 2 volume guidebook set for Melbourne, which will replace the original Melbourne’s Best Bush, Bay and City Walks, which was first published in 2011 and has sold some 10,000 copies.
For this new book, we have focussed on all the beautiful waterside walks that Melbourne has to offer. Some were in the original books (and have all been rewalked and updated), but many more are new, and there are some real gems. There are 40 walks, all with maps, easy-to-follow directions and lovely photos so you will have a good idea what to expect. Broken up by region, here’s a list of the walks to whet your appetites – the books are available in all good bookstores and online.
